Former Vice President Al Gore is cofounder and Chairman of Generation Investment Management, a firm that is focused on a new approach to Sustainable Investing.
Gore is also cofounder and Chairman of Current TV, an independently owned cable and satellite television network for young people based on viewer-created content and citizen journalism. A member of the Board of Directors of Apple Computer, Inc. and a Senior Advisor to Google, Inc. Gore is also Visiting Professor at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Mr. Gore is the author of An Inconvenient Truth, currently a best-selling book on the threat of and solutions to global warming, and the subject of the movie of the same title, which has already become one of the top documentary films in history.
Since his earliest days in the U. S. Congress 30 years ago, Al Gore has been the leading advocate for confronting the threat of global warming. His pioneering efforts were outlined in his best-selling book Earth in the Balance: Ecology and the Human Spirit (1992). He led the Clinton-Gore Administration's efforts to protect the environment in a way that also strengthens the economy.
Al Gore was born on March 31, 1948, the son of former U.S. Senator Albert Gore, Sr. and Pauline Gore. Raised in Carthage, Tennessee, and Washington, D.C., he received a degree in government with honors from Harvard University in 1969. After graduation, he volunteered for enlistment in the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. Upon returning from Vietnam, Al Gore became an investigative reporter with the Tennessean in Nashville, where he also attended Vanderbilt University's Divinity School and then Law School.
Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, reside in Nashville, Tennessee. They have four children- Karenna, Kristin, Sarah, and Albert III; and two grandchildren: Wyatt Gore Schiff and Anna Hunger Schiff.

He is Chair of the Pew Center for Global Climate Change, Vice Chair of the Wilderness Society, and a Trustee for the American Museum of Natural History, The World Resources Institute, the Institute for Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming, and a Trustee of Trout Unlimited.

Larry J. Schweiger

Larry Schweiger became President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Wildlife Federation in March 2004 with a commitment to confront global warming to protect wildlife and our children's future. Previously, he served for eight years as President and CEO of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy (WPC) where he pioneered and promoted a number of programs including the creation of a watershed restoration center, expanded ecological research and land conservation. Prior to joining WPC, Larry was the 1st vice president of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation where he was responsible for the Foundation’s resource protection, land trust activities and advocacy programs.

Lieutenant General Brent Scowcroft, USAF (Ret.), is President of The Scowcroft Group, Inc., an international business advisory firm. He is also the founder and President of The Forum for International Policy, a non-partisan, non-profit organization providing independent perspectives and opinions on major foreign policy issues, based on a commitment to active, thoughtful American global leadership. General Scowcroft served as Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs to Presidents Gerald Ford and George H. W. Bush.

Lee Thomas most recently served as president and chief operating officer of Georgia-Pacific Corp. Thomas oversaw Georgia-Pacific's North American and European consumer products, pulp and paper, packaging and building products businesses. Also reporting to Thomas were the company's corporate staff functions of information technology, environmental affairs, government affairs, corporate services and strategic sourcing. With the acquisition of Georgia-Pacific by Koch Industries, Thomas retired in December 2005. Before joining Georgia-Pacific, Thomas served as chairman and CEO for Law Companies Environmental Group, an environmental engineering company. He is a former administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and has also held leadership positions with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Office of the Governor of South Carolina.

Orin S. Kramer

Orin S. Kramer is a general partner of Boston Provident, L.P. He also serves as chairman of the New Jersey State Investment Council. Previously, he had been associated with the management consulting firm of McKinsey & Co., the law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, and the White House Domestic Policy Staff under President Carter.
He has served as executive director of state commissions focused on financial regulatory issues in New York and California, been a member of presidential advisory councils and commissions, and acted as a director of public and private corporations and numerous non-profit boards. He has co-authored two books and a variety of studies and articles. He graduated from Yale College and Columbia Law School, where he subsequently taught.

He established the first portable staging company, Stage One Inc., to accommodate the staging, lighting, and outdoor production needs of large stadium and arena concert tours and was Vice-Chairman of iXL, a global Internet consulting firm, where he led the strategic acquisition and organization of 42 Internet design and consulting companies to build a venture with 3,000 employees. He is a co-founder of Shelter Capital Partners, a $175 million VC fund, currently invested in 12 companies in the semiconductor, software and convergence sectors.
